Must have driver\u2019s license; some experience with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry; and be able to stoop and lift heavy objects.<\/p>\n<p>Job scope:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Routine repairs to parish equipment and facilities<\/li>\n<li>Operate various hand and power tools for routine plumbing, mechanical or carpentry repairs, boiler experience helpful<\/li>\n<li>Maintain logs for work performed including preventative and routine maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Schedule and document all regular inspections<\/li>\n<li>Maintain MSD sheets<\/li>\n<li>Perform regular janitorial duties in church, Activities Center, Faith Formation office, meeting rooms and Faith Formation classrooms<\/li>\n<li>Keep inventory of maintenance supplies and report shortages for ordering<\/li>\n<li>Keep parking lots, walkways, flower beds free of weeds and debris<\/li>\n<li>Keep walkways and parking lot clear of snow<\/li>\n<li>Event set-up and tear down in Activities Center<\/li>\n<li>Available for emergencies during off hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Includes full benefits as offered by the Archdiocese of Detroit.<br \/>\nPlease call the parish office if interested (734-427-5220).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stgenevieve-stmaurice.org\/parish\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/MaintenanceJob.2024.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Job Posting<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are hiring!
