But Jesus also teaches us the decisiveness of choice: blessing or woe. <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">Choosing to help those that are suffering will fill your heart with the blessing of Jesus and indeed your <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">reward will be great in heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">With your overwhelming support, the parish has served over 150 families in the past year. <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">An additional 450 bags of groceries were provided to those in need. Some examples of recent assistance <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">include aiding an\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">eighty-one-year-old\u00a0widow without a working furnace who was heating her home by <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">portable heaters. Three additional families that were facing eviction from their rental properties were <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">provided aid. You have made, and continue to make, a major difference for those in need within our parish <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">boundaries. Thank you all for your kindness, your support and your prayers. <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">And a special thanks to our <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">corporate sponsors: <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">Kroger, Meijer, and Bob<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">\u2019<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">s Discount Furniture. We also, in conjunction with other local <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">SVDPs, have started a program that provides low interest loans for necessary items such as automobiles or <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">appliance repairs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\">Do you know someone who is in need of food, assistance with utilities, rent or mortgage?
