The older students worked hard on their presentations and the elementary grades tried to stump us with their <em>&#8220;Bible Guess Who&#8221;?<\/em> masks and clues. Thank you to the parents who came to share this event with us, we appreciate your support. If you couldn\u2019t make this event, we will have another family evening at the beginning of Advent.<\/p>\n<p>Gospel Family Connection &#8211; In today&#8217;s Gospel, we see Jesus as a guest in the house of Zacchaeus. Talk about the various ways in which your family prepares when guests are expected in your home. Then read today&#8217;s Gospel, Luke 19:1-10. Observe that Zacchaeus had not prepared to be Jesus&#8217; host that day. And yet, he welcomed Jesus better than anyone else because of his change of heart.<\/p>\n<p>Discuss how your family might receive Jesus in your home and how you receive Jesus in the guests that you make welcome in your home. Pray together that your family will welcome guests into your home as you would welcome Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>Partners in Faith,<br \/>\nPhyllis Chudzinski<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 11\/1\/22<\/strong> &#8211; All Saint\u2019s Day Mass at Noon and 7pm (Holy Day of Obligation)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wednesday 11\/2\/22- NO CLASSES<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; Please go to the Remembrance Mass at 7pm as a family. This would count as Spiritual Enrichment for 7th and 8th grade.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wednesday 11\/9\/22<\/strong> &#8211; K-8 Classes 5:30 pm &#8211; 7pm<br \/>\n<strong>Mandatory First Communion Retreat.<\/strong> At least 1 parent should be present.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello Families!
