Looking for a meaningful, fun, and free activity that the whole family can participate in. Join the St. Vincent de Paul – Friends of the Poor Walk. The walk take places on Saturday, September 29th on Belle Isle. Check-in / registration will begin at 9:00 am and the walk begins at 10:00 am. The route is a three mile loop along the beautiful pathways of Belle Isle. Lunch will be provided along with fun activities for the entire family to include face painting, bounce house, music, and much more.
Each registered walker will receive a T-shirt. Register online at www.fopwalk.org and follow the prompts to select your beneficiary – St. Genevieve/St. Maurice Parish, Livonia MI ID 1972. All funds raised are turned over to our parish SVdP. There is NO registration fee, but all vehicles entering Bell Isle require a State Park Recreation Pass. Passes can be purchased the day of the walk for a cost of $11.00.
Not able to attend the walk? You can still participate by donating online at www.fopwalk.org or donate directly to St. Genevieve – St. Maurice SVdP by placing your donation into the Sunday collection. Please write SVdP FOP Walk on the envelope.
