Keynote Speaker: Karen Moore, Executive Director of Sanctum House with Lived Experience Speaker Irene Faziani
Karen Moore and her team developed the 24-month integrated care safe house for adult women victims of human trafficking in Michigan in 2018. Sanctum House provides 24/7 coverage and offers mental healthcare, physical healthcare, life skills training, educational opportunities, spiritual growth and employment opportunities. She is a member of the Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force, Board member of The Pearls of Great Price Coalition & certified to train on human trafficking on behalf of the US Dept. of Health & Human Services.
Irene Faziani is a graduate of Sanctum House. She has 6 years in recovery and for the past 3 years has mentored women coming through the Sanctum House program as an advocate for victims of Human Trafficking.
