As announced at last Sunday’s Masses and with script in last week’s parish paper, you know of the Archdiocesan expedited process of Deacon Breen to the position of Associate Director for the Permanent Diaconate of the Archdiocese of Detroit. Deacon Breen was our Pastoral Associate and Deacon. Continuing his diaconal ministry among us on weekends, we found ourselves seeking weekday assistance: a Pastoral Assistant: a person of faith, trust, love of God and the Catholic Church, grounded in our faith, educated in the Catholic spiritual life, a person of prayer dedicated to the spiritual well-being of our parish in the many areas that arise every day.

Be a member of the St. Genevieve-St. Maurice PPC

Attend Vicariate meetings

Assist in the Worship and Education Commissions

Be involved in our Christian Service

Visit Nursing Homes

Make funeral arrangements

Conduct Wake Services

Assist at funerals

Lead Cemetery Services

Assist in the RCIA program

Teach religion
