Lenten Fish Fry Wrapup and Slideshow

Thank you to all of our parishioners, their families and friends that attended our Lenten Fish Fries. We served over 400 meals each week! Volunteers from nine different parish organizations contributed 1039 volunteer hours to make our Fish Fry a huge success. These organizations will share in the over $8,000 of profit generated over the six Lenten Friday events.

Special thanks go to several volunteers who were there week after week getting the job done. Mark and Irene Zatirka handling the dining room setup. Al Cartier making the soup and clam chowder. John Tabone for shopping at GFS and working Thursday and Friday nights. Rick and Judi Fanco for taking care of the Costco purchases. Jim Biddinger for his help with Thursday night prep and cooking the specials on four of the six nights. Ray Johnson for his help and guidance throughout the weeks. Veronica Finch and Chris Stoll for handling the cashier duties. Karen Bonanno for her tireless
efforts in recruiting the 30-40 volunteers needed each week. Colleen Biddinger and Martha Schultz for keeping the finances in check. And Bob Carzon for all of his efforts on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday helping out with any and all of the tasks that needed to be done.

We really enjoyed the work and hopefully you enjoyed the Fish Fry. We look forward to doing it again next year.
