Thanks to all who helped with the parish picnic. If you worked a booth, made a cake or dessert, donated a bottle of wine, worked at the raffle, helped serve food or whatever you did it sure all came together for a very nice picnic. The new Cake/ Wine Walk was very popular and the Raffle was a new and nice addition. The food was great and there was plenty of it (loved the corn). A special thanks to the Men’s Club for planning it and making it such a successful day. There was food, music, games and good conversations. What else could we ask for except maybe for Mother Nature to pass on the rain but we have no control over that.
We have a meeting coming up Monday October 8th. Doors open at 6:45 with the meeting starting at 7:00 pm.
Also a reminder for those of you going Sunday October 6th to the Council of Catholic Women’s 80th Anniversary Celebration at St. Aidan Church in Livonia, the event begins with 11:30 am Mass. It is followed by a Family-Style Luncheon and Entertainment. The entertainment is “Sisters Act Out” a hilarious, original musical comedy act. Several of us have already reserved our spot. If anyone else is interested give Judi Fanco a call. The ticket price for this event is $40.00.
