Livonia, Michigan

From Fr. Tom!

Hopefully you had a blessed week. Let me share a few words with you about a few upcoming and very important events for our parish community.
I’m really looking forward to seeing you this Sunday, October 4th, from 2 pm – 3:30 pm on Middlebelt Rd. from Jamison to 6 Mile Rd., as we are going to manifest our respect and pray for EVERY LIFE, making a LIFE CHAIN. Please pick up a sign in the East parking lot of our parish from 1:30 pm – 2 pm. If you cannot join us, please pray for the intention of Life on Sunday afternoon, maybe a rosary, a chaplet to Divine Mercy, or a simple and short prayer for this intention. “Let’s imitate Christ and follow his footsteps“, respecting and promoting a culture of Life.
With the same intention — praying for life — on this Tuesday, October 6th we’ll begin a monthly devotion to St. Michael the Archangel. 7 pm Mass will be dedicated to St. Michael, the Prince of Angels. After Mass, we’ll have an exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with the Chaplet to St. Michael. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be held in the church till 8:30 pm. So if you cannot come for Mass or the Devotion, please come, even for a few minutes, before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. May St. Michael protect us always and deliver us from every evil. The whole month of October within the Catholic Church is dedicated to our Blessed Mother. Every Monday and Wednesday after morning Mass we will pray the rosary. This Wednesday, October 7th, is the feast of Our Lady of Rosary. Honoring our Blessed Mother in a special way on that day we invite you for morning Mass at 9 o’clock and the rosary before the Blessed Sacrament. May this month of October be blessed, holy, and healthy for you and your loved ones. Those are my prayers for you.
