Be sure to join us for these special Lent events:
Wednesday, April 6th at 7:30pm Taizé Adoration of the Cross
What is Taizé? A Taizé prayer service consists of repetitive singing of chants that focus on simple phrases, often from Scripture. The repetition of the music and prayer creates a meditative prayer experience. Taizé originates from a community of Catholics and Protestants in Taizé, France. Join us for this prayerful evening.
Saturday, April 9th at 10am Healing Mass with Anointing of the Sick
If you are seeking healing in mind, body or spirit join us for this special Healing Mass.
Sunday, April 10that 7pm Living Stations of the Cross
Come and meet Pontius Pilate in person and hear his reasoning about his decision to crucify Jesus. Hear Barabbas shout out his disdain for the Romans and listen to Mary tearfully testify to her own eyewitness account of the crucifixion of her son. Pray with the women of Jerusalem who met Jesus on the road to Cavalry and meet Veronica, who tried to comfort Him on the Way of the Cross. Listen to Simon of Cyrene complain how he was forced to aid Jesus with the cross and meet Mary Magdalene, who followed Jesus all the way to the top of the hill called the Skull.
If you are at all curious about the viewpoint of those who were there when Jesus died and how it affected His friends and enemies at that time, then you will want to be at our Living Stations of the Cross.
