On Thanksgiving, we give thanks to the people in our lives, our health and wellness, the food on our table, and to our life and everything in it. We have so many things to be thankful for, and it felt wonderful to be able to give back during such a meaningful time of the year. Through your kind acts, sixteen families within our parish community were able to have a very special Thanksgiving meal. More importantly, they had time to share thanks and prayers as a family. To the parish membership and to the Men’s Club – from those we help and from us, we express our gratitude.
Thank you, you are truly amazing people.
Your Saint Vincent de Paul Chapter
Another year is coming to an end. We, the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul want to express our sincere gratitude for your financial support, donations and especially your prayers of this past year. You chose to care; you chose to impact the lives of so many within our parish boundaries.
Because of you, over 200 individuals received assistance with rent, mortgages, utilities, medical bills, auto repairs and all found an open ear to listen to their stories, their hoes, their dreams for the future. Your desire to make a difference resulted in 973 bags of food distributed through the food pantry program. Another dozen families were able to have a traditional Thanksgiving and over 80 people, mostly children, had a Christmas last year that would not have been the same – not to mention 19 families this year – all because you chose to care.
Thank you not only from us, but also from Mary whose family you fed, from from the families that had a home to return to each night, from the families that had power and lights at night, and heat circulating through their homes. From Frank, who had his medication restored, from Paul and others like him that were living on the street, and now have jobs and beds to sleep in.
God Bless You. May you, your families and friends have a Merry Christmas.
Signed,
Your Neighbors in Need
