Take Flat Jesus with you on your summer adventures!
While Jesus is with us always, it is fun to have a visual reminder of His presence with us.
The concept of Flat Jesus is inspired by the children’s book series, “Flat Stanley,” by Jeff Brown. As Stanley helped with literacy and geography, Flat Jesus will help us stay connected with our faith and the idea that we are indeed a Universal Church. Use the template of Jesus shared in the gathering area – cut Him out and place Him somewhere you will be reminded to take Him along with you wherever you go this summer. Planning a road trip? He is the perfect companion! Exploring a new city? He wants to come along! Jesus also enjoys watching you play baseball, learn to swim, walk the dog, and/or read a book.
Take pictures of Jesus with yourselves and send them in an email to kchamberland@stgenevieve.org or pchudzinski@stgenevieve.org. A bulletin board will be set up in the gathering area where we will share all of Jesus’ travels. We cannot wait to see where Jesus goes this summer!
