Opportunities for Eucharistic Revival in our Family

The National Eucharistic Revival invites us to renew our love for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament through a “grassroots revival of devotion and belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.”

Our own family of Parishes, Mother of Divine Love Family, is offering the opportunity to encounter Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament through Eucharistic Adoration. To encounter Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is a life-changing event that enables us to truly love our neighbor as he loves us: with a self-giving love. To adore means to worship. To be able to sit in the quiet, close to Jesus in the Sacred Host gives us the opportunity to open our hearts to his heart, to listen to his voice in the same whisper that Elijah heard on Mt. Horeb.

Each parish of our Family will be opening its doors to extended times for Eucharistic Adoration:

September 12th @ Our Lady of Loretto: Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will be at 7am, and Benediction at 7pm, followed by Mass.

October 11th @ St. John XXIII: Exposition at 7am, Benediction at 6:30pm followed by Mass.

November 10th @ St. Valentine: Exposition at 7am, Benediction at 7pm followed by Mass.

December 18th-19th @ St. Genevieve-St. Maurice: This is going to be a 24 hour adoration – beginning on Dec. 18th at 7pm to Dec. 19th at 7pm followed by Mass.

This invitation to prayerful communion with Jesus is important for us as members of our Family of Parishes. Keeping in mind, however, it is also an opportunity for us to invite others to pray with us before the glory of Jesus, profoundly present in the Blessed Sacrament in our own churches! Let us go out of our parish boundaries to sit before our Eucharistic Lord and spend those precious moments with HIM. Let this be an opportunity for us to grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus and within our Family of Parishes.

Mother of Divine Love, our Family Patroness, Pray for us.
