Dear Parents,
We had our last Faith Formation class on May 8th. We tried some new things this year involving the families more in our faith formation classes. I look forward to seeing everyone next year for more faith filled activities! I want to especially thank the 8th grade parents who stood behind their child’s commitment to completing the year even after they received the sacrament of Confirmation. Your commitment to your child and our program is commendable, and I thank you for your support. I think the few that finished their studies learning about Eucharistic Miracles and their mock trial, “Could I be proven guilty of being a Catholic”? It was a very eye-opening class. Have a blessed and safe summer and we look forward to seeing everyone in September and at Mass.
I would like to thank all of our Catechists and Aides; Jan Belleperche, Karen Bonanno, Suezane Canfield, Loretta Gelhaus, Barb Janeczko, Wendy Jones, Donna Longuski, Sherry Luszcz, Mark Mazur, Gloria Platek, Maria Stawarz, and Anjanette Turbiak. We couldn’t do this without your commitment to our parish children!
Take Time to Chat – What’s the difference between the peace that Jesus gives and the peace the world gives? Who is the Holy Spirit? What is different about someone who allows the Holy Spirit to work in their life?

Prayer to the Holy Spirit – Breathe in me O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy. Strengthen me O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy. Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy. Amen.
Family Challenge – Begin every prayer this week by saying, “Come, Holy Spirit.”
Fun facts – The Monday after Pentecost is the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, which Pope Francis declared in 2018. Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us!
