Trip to Poland
Hopefully these few words would find you well. I would like to inform you that on July 15th I am going to Poland to visit my family. I will be gone until August 8th. There is a priestly coverage for every day while I will be away, but there will be NO CONFESSION before weekday Masses. Every Saturday, as usually, there will be a priest in the chapel waiting for you for the sacrament of reconciliation at 3:30 pm. Be assured of my prayers for the parish, for you and your loved ones. I am also asking you for your prayers for me and my family.
A new responsibility!
As you already know, I belong to the Congregation of St. Michael the Archangel. Together with 11 brothers from Canada, we form the North America Province. 11 of us work in Canada (London, Melrose, Toronto, Wallaceburg, Sarnia, PE Island, and 2 of us in the US. Since July 1st we have a new provincial Fr. Andrew Kowalczyk from St. Clare of Montefalco Parish, Grosse Pointe Park, who chose me as a Vice Provincial, and Fr. Dariusz Lewandowski from Wellsburg, CA was chosen by the community as a council member. I might have more responsibility than before, but my priority is still St. Genevieve-St. Maurice Parish. Please pray for us, as a council and as a community that we might listen to the Holy Spirit and read the signs that lead our Michaelites’ religious order as God wants us to lead it.
