After almost 30 years of hard physical work and dedication to our parish community, the time has come for Dave McDaniel, our maintenance person, to retire. Dave had become such a important part of our community during that time. Many of you probably never knew him but he was the one who was opening and closing the church during the week, taking care of furnaces and AC units, cleaning the church and the property, if needed, shoveling the snow and making sure the sidewalks and the parking lots were not slippery in wintertime, plus doing many more things that not many people would appreciate doing. Today, on behalf of all of the people whom he served and myself, I would like to thank him for his labor. We wish him a blessed retirement, and a restful time with his wife Diane and his family, especially his granddaughter. Dave, we already miss you. Thank you for everything you have done for us.
P. S. We are still looking for a replacement for Dave. So, if you know of someone that would be interested in this job, please contact the parish office.
Have a blessed week. Fr. Tom
