Merry Christmas

Pope Benedict XVI once said: “The Christian faith can never be separated from the soil of sacred events, from the choice made by God, who wanted to speak to us, to become man, to die and rise again, in a particular place and at a particular time.”

2000 years ago, God himself became man, to show us how important each of us is to Him. How much we are loved. To show us that our life has a purpose, meaning and destination. And on that journey, we are not alone. We have THE COMPANION, we have THE SAVIOR, we have THE EMMANUEL, GOD who is always with us. And his name is JESUS! We are not alone!

Christmas is not a feeling, Christmas is not a sentiment, it’s not about parties and celebrations, but Christmas is a choice!

God made a choice, He sent His only Son to become man, to save us from our sins. And now we face a choice.

Am I going to open my heart for Jesus, make room for Him, and follow Him with no reservation, or am I going to say: “I’m sorry there is no room for you in my life!?”

Am I going to keep my relationship with Jesus and make every choice of my life with Him, or say I don’t need Him, I know how to take care of myself and my life!?

Dear Parishioners, I wish you not only a happy, joyful, and unforgettable Christmas, but I wish that this Christmas would help you to make a good choice! Open your heart for Jesus, let Him speak to you, let Him live in you and through you, let Him lead you through your life, let Him be your EMMANUEL, your God!

Blessed Christmas to you and your families!
