Christmas Giving Tree Program
Jesus is the hope of the world and we at the society of Saint Vincent de Paul strive to be the vehicle of expressing that hope to the world. We do this through your generous support to our many programs. Programs that provide prayers and a listening ear to those in need, but also assistance with food, clothing, rent, utilities, taxes, and auto repairs.
As you see on the back wall of the church, our annual Christmas Giving Tree Program is in full swing. Often, that gift that you provide is the only Christmas present this family or person receives. As a single mother expressed last year, “you gave my child a Christmas for the first time in two years, you gave me hope for the two of us.” Please consider providing Christmas for someone. We ask the gift be returned by December 14th at the donation area in the church entrance.
We would also like to express our thanks and support to our corporate and parish sponsors, whose donations greatly increase our ability to provide assistance. They include Two Men and a Truck, Stan’s Market, Kroger, Meijer, Google, Virginia Gas, the Women’s Sodality and the Men’s Club.
