Hello Families,
The end of our Faith Formation year is quickly coming to a close. Please join us for our last class on Wednesday May 6th at 5:30 pm as we celebrate our Blessed Mother in a May Crowning led by our Sacramental classes. You are welcome to bring fresh flowers to add to our presentation to Mary, followed by refreshments.
Family Prayer – Good, Good Father
Listen as a family to the song, Good, Good Father, by Chris Tomlin. You should be able to find the song on You Tube or where you stream music. Sing along with the chorus. Share what moved you about the song.
Family Challenge – Jesus tells us that he is the “gate” (or the way) to eternal life. Every time you see a gate this week, thank Jesus for something good that happened that day.

Join the Vacation Bible School Adventure: Help Bring Rainforest Falls to Life!
We need help with the following:
Coordinator
A coordinator for VBS would help prepare & guide this summer’s program (June 22-26) starting around May. This role works closely with the Faith Formation staff and includes organizing materials, supporting volunteers, and helping create a fun, faith-filled week for our parish kids.
Station Leaders
Station leaders are at the heart of Rainforest Falls and they’re the ones who bring each station to life preparing simple lessons, guiding activities, and showing children what a friendship with God looks like in everyday life.
We have five stations that need adult leaders this year:
• Rooted Bible Adventures – Anticipate changed hearts as you guide kids in unforgettable Bible adventures!
• Treetop Treats – Prepare snacks that’ll have children going bananas!
• Imagination Station – Guide kids in spotting God’s hand … in science!
• Sticky Scripture – Show kids through videos that they can leap into God’s Word like never before.
• Wild Games – Lead games kids will be squawking about!
If you enjoy working with children and feel comfortable speaking to a group, we would love to have you join us. (A background check and a Protecting God’s Children class-online or in person-are required.) All stations have a leader manual that you will get ahead of time.
Crew Leaders
We need teens from 7th grade to high school to be Crew Leaders. Crew Leaders don’t have to prepare anything; they just come each day, guide their Crew members (of 5 or 6 kids) through activities, help facilitate discussions, and generally join in the fun.
Help With Decorating
The week before VBS, we’ll be transforming the Activities Center into a rainforest! If you can climb ladders, move furniture, or help hang decorations, we’d be thrilled to have your help on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (June 16, 17 & 18) during the day.
