Catechetical Sunday reminds us that passing on the faith is a shared responsibility of the entire Christian community. It is a special day to recognize and commission catechists, teachers, and all who help others grow in their relationship with Christ. Through their witness, prayer, and instruction, they help form disciples and strengthen the faith of future generations. Catechetical Sunday also invites every parishioner to reflect on how they can live and share the Gospel in their daily lives.
Today we gratefully recognize the catechists of our parish; Karen Bonanno, Ann Brumar, Suezane Canfield, Rachelle Doublet, Greg Doublet, Kristen Gillis, Barb Janeczko, Sheri Luszcz, Mark Mazur, Gloria Platek, Mary Tabone, Stephanie Toth, and Vanessa Zywiol. By sharing their time, talents, and faith, they help guide others in their journey with Christ. We thank them for their dedication and ask God’s blessings upon them as they continue this important ministry.
